AUTOIMMUNE

ARTHRITIS

ARTHRITIS

Arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease where the antibodies that defend your body from infections and aggressions, inverse their function and attack the joints. Regenerative therapy helps with healing of the damaged cartilage, allowing for better mobility. To accomplish this, it increases the production of hyaluronic acid, glucose - aminoglycans and proteoglycans that aid in rebuilding the damaged tissue, which was a process that had been altered due to the progression of the disease.

This therapy also produces anti-inflammatory cytokines that progressively eliminate inflammation, such as increasing growth factors that rejuvenate and strengthen the joint. These cytokines eliminate fibrosis allowing better mobility. Finally, they restore lost collagen and blood circulation.

The set of improvements produced by the new regenerative treatments create a new joint. In this way, movement, strength, and flexibility are improved and thus improving the quality of life of the patient.

ARTHRITIS

Mildred Fernández

This is the testimony of a patient with severe arthritis. She couldn't walk and she had undergone surgical replacement for both knees. After regenerative treatment her knees regenerated and she did not need more surgery. Aside from her knees, there was also improvement in other areas of her body that allowed for a better quality of life:

  • Arthritis in hips and hands disappeared.

  • Multiple hernias in the spine disappeared.

  • Eliminated the use of a cane.

  • The pains, cramps and contractures in the lower extremities disappeared.

  • She managed to become independent and to do her daily activities without outside help.
